Our Mission
The Ohana BRIDGE strengthens outcomes for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children by connecting families, communities, and resources. Through collaboration, education, and family-centered support, we help families navigate their journey with confidence while building partnerships that create lasting opportunities.
Our Vision
We envision a future where Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children have access to the support, language, education, and community they need to thrive. Families shouldn't have to navigate their journey alone. We believe meaningful change happens when families, professionals, schools, organizations, and communities work together, not separately.
Why We Exist
The Ohana BRIDGE was created to help strengthen connections between families, resources, professionals, and communities so that no family feels like they're navigating this journey alone.
Our Approach
We believe meaningful change happens when families, the Deaf community, educators, service providers, and community organizations work together. Rather than duplicating existing services, The Ohana BRIDGE focuses on strengthening connections, improving access to trusted resources, and identifying unmet needs within the community.
As we grow, we will continue listening, collaborating, and developing programs that respond to real needs. We will build solutions with the community, not for it.
